Aesop Unforeseen Aer Eau de Parfum
Aesop’s newest Eau de Parfum rides geranium, lavandin, and rosemary into nutmeg warmth — a mineral fougère in the brand’s redesigned amber bottle.
Pure Air, Spiked
Unforeseen Aer opens cool and aromatic: geranium, lavandin, and rosemary push a crisp Pure Air accord, then nutmeg lands with textured spice. Lime, petitgrain, eucalyptus, patchouli, cypress, and labdanum round out the trail. Perfumer Céline Barel built it as an unconventional fougère — wind over basalt more than barbershop foam.
New Bottle Language
The Fragrant Fables redesign gives Aesop a taller amber vessel with a domed base, embossed insignia, and a basalt-textured cap nodding to Melbourne’s volcanic rock. Metallic type on the label keeps the pharmacy restraint while making the silhouette sharper on a shelf.
How It Lands
Sold as a 50 ml and 100 ml Eau de Parfum alongside the rest of the Fragrant Fables lineup. It’s the collection’s true debut scent — fresh enough for travel, grounded enough for evening — and it looks like what Aesop has always wanted fragrance packaging to be.
