Shadid is Arabic for intense. Andy Tauer’s brief is a night drive from Los Angeles to Las Vegas: wide sky, warm silence, solitude. Oriental depth without oud — spice, animalic warmth, smoky woods, and a bright nagarmotha heart that keeps the composition from collapsing into pure darkness.

Coriander To Ambergris

Top: coriander and a castoreum impression. Heart: nagarmotha, palisander, animalic musks. Base: sandalwood, ambergris, vanilla, cedarwood. The profile reads oriental woody and animalic leather — strong presence, low-to-medium sweetness, no gourmand fog. Extrait concentration, built to sit and last.

Cobalt Flacon, Zurich Fill

Handmade in Zurich in Tauer’s five-sided cobalt bottle with the red geometric label and Bakelite cap. Fifty milliliters. CHF 205 on the brand store; specialty counters price around the same band. Once a limited anniversary juice, now permanent as long as the materials hold.
