Leica M EV1
M-series body with an integrated electronic viewfinder—manual focus aids, classic M controls, compact silhouette.
M body, EVF onboard
The M EV1 keeps Leica’s M proportions and tactile controls, then adds a built-in electronic viewfinder. Manual focusing gets focus peaking and a clearer preview without bolting on an external EVF.
Focus help in hard light
An integrated EVF helps nail focus when optical rangefinder patches get ambiguous—low light, thin depth of field, awkward angles. The shooting feel stays M; the preview is modern.
Compact, grip-first shape
Leica kept the camera small and the contours useful for hold and control access. It is still a rangefinder-family tool first, not a mirrorless slab with an M badge.
