Manchester Outerwear

The backbone of the capsule comes from Cooper & Stollbrand, a Manchester factory that has been cutting cloth for more than 150 years and still runs some of its original machines. Its Hunter Jacket is a cropped, water-repellent field jacket in forest green with four big front pockets and a popper placket, and each of the 100 made takes around 15,000 stitches across ten machinists. The same floor turned out a grey herringbone car coat with raglan sleeves and buttoned cuff tabs.

Knits and Caps

Team Thorpe in Leicestershire knits the 6-ply superfine lambswool crew neck in a punchy cobalt or a deep forest green, finished with ribbed trims and a Made in England label at the hem. Leftover herringbone from the car coat becomes a soft trucker cap with rope trim, so the coat and cap can go out as a matched set.

Sanders Derbies

The capsule closes with a black leather military Derby from Sanders, which has made shoes in Rushden since 1873 and spent much of that time outfitting the British armed forces. Percival gave it military green laces and matching green stitching, and fewer than 50 pairs exist. Pieces run from £90 to £600 and are available now in small numbers.
