Moc Toe, Winterized

The 6-inch Classic Moc has been a Red Wing staple for decades, and the Norway Moc keeps its silhouette, its 45 last, and that unmistakable stitched toe. Everything underfoot and around the edges is new. In the words of Red Wing's Amy Peck, this is a Minnesotan boot built for Norwegian winters.

A New Leather

The upper debuts Copper Rough and Tough with a Scotch-grain emboss, tanned at Red Wing's own S.B. Foot Tanning Company. The pebbled surface sheds water far better than smooth leather, and it wears in with the deep patina copper hides are known for.

Built for Ice

The Classic Moc's white wedge gives way to a Vibram Fire and Ice Lug outsole that grips on frozen pavement. A Norwegian-style storm welt seals the seam between sole and upper. Inside, a canvas lining wicks moisture, the collar is padded, and a removable footbed topped in felted wool holds warmth. Red Wing calls it the warmest boot in the Heritage line, and the fall campaign took it all the way to Longyearbyen on Svalbard to prove the point.

Price and Availability

The Norway Moc is available now from Red Wing Heritage for $369.99 in Regular width, and for EUR 449 in Europe.
